Fresh calls are being made for safety measures to be put in place at a protected bridge in Ennis.
Drehidnagowar on the Drumcliffe road is a narrow protected structure that, while having works carried out in recent years, remains difficult to pass at peak times for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.

A protest is being held by local Sinn Féin members outside Áras Contae an Chlár this morning from 10 o’clock to highlight the issue.
