Fresh calls are being made for a historical theme park to be built in Bunratty to compete with Tayto Park.
The Shannon Municipal District is to write to Shannon Group, calling for a theme park to be developed at the site of the Shannon Shamrock Hotel, which has been closed for some time.
It’s claimed this would see a surge in the number of visitors coming to Clare and also lead to the creation of many permanent jobs.
