There are fresh calls for a ‘comprehensive’ transport plan to be put together for county Clare.
Elected representatives have been discussing the move, with Clare County Council saying it’s a ‘significant piece of work’ that would need budgets identified for it.

Concerns have been expressed that a ‘lack of joined up thinking’ amongst stakeholders is causing difficulties for both tourists and those living in the county alike.
Corofin-based Fianna Fail Councillor Joe Killeen says navigating transport in Clare at this moment in time is ‘a minefield’.
