There are fresh calls for traffic calming measures to be installed at Clareabbey roundabout.
It follows frustration expressed by Councillors at this week’s Ennis Municipal District meeting, following progress that’s been described as happening at ‘a snail’s pace’.
Engineering consultants appointed by Transport Infrastructure Ireland are currently modelling the roundabout’s redesign.
However, Clarecastle-based Fine Gael Councillor Paul Murphy believes quicker action is needed.
