Clare County Council is reminding the public that free car parking is available in Ennis throughout the festive season.
Each day until January 1st, parking will be free in all local authority car parks such as Abbey Street and Parnell Street from 2pm onwards.

Free parking can also be availed of between 5pm and 8pm each day during the same period at Áras Contae an Chláir, the Courthouse and the Waterpark Campus, as well as at weekends from 10am to 6pm.
Ennis Municipal District Senior Engineer Seán Lenihan says it’s important to remember that charges still apply to on-street parking over the coming weeks.
