Sixteen additional free car parking spaces have been announced for the Scariff town centre.
Clare County Council and Killaloe MD announced the new 24-hour daily public car park which can be accessed from the R352 Mountshannon Road and includes pedestrian access to Market Square.

This parking, built on a repurposed site, will be in place in the East Clare town until the end of 2025.
This development is separate to the proposed 45-space car park located nearby in the town centre which is subject to an impending Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) application and is expected to commence in late 2024.
