An Ennis-based businessman has claimed top honours in a prestigious national awards scheme.
Terry Fox of Cupprint was the winner in the Emerging category at the EYEntrepreneur of the Year Awards, held in Dublin last night.
Another Ennis businessman, Brian Crowley of TTM Group, was also one of the 24 finalists.
The award came hours after a local fashion designer was named as the county's Best Young Entrepreneur.
Kilnamona-based Regina Tierney of Brigid's Mantle has claimed 20 thousand euro after she was crowned winner in the event which was organised by the Clare Local Enterprise Office.
Steve Markham of hAppie – a boutique mobile application developer and publisher – was awarded €10,000 for winning the Best Idea – while Eric Gargiulo of Delivery Guys Ltd. received €20,000 for winning 'Best Established Business.’
