The fourth annual Éigse Thomáis Uí Aodha festival takes place in West Clare this weekend.
The Irish language festival is the only event of its kind in Clare and will run from Friday to Sunday in Miltown Malbay.

Some of the highlights include a lecture on the placenames of Clare, a pop-up Gaeltacht, a visit to Tomás O’hAodha’s home and musical performances.
Member of the organising committee, Seamus Mac Mathúna, is encouraging people to get involved in their heritage.
