Four vacant Garda stations in Clare remain unsold.
The facilities are now owned by the Office of Public Works, following their closure five years ago, but the Dáil has heard that their future has yet to be determined.
The Minister with responsibility for the OPW, Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran, has included the former stations in Broadford, Doonbeg, Inagh and Quin as facilities which are owned by the Office but not in use.
They all closed in 2013.
He says their future use will be determined after the current review of closed stations has been concluded.
Two of Clare’s former Garda Stations, which closed in recent years, have already been sold including Labasheeda which fetched only 18,500 euro.
