A man has died following a shooting incident at University Hospital Limerick.
The man was discovered inside a church on the grounds of the hospital shortly before 3pm this afternoon.
Emergency services, including Gardáí, were dispatched to the scene.
It's understood that the man is aged in his 70s, and from the Limerick area.
Foul play is not suspected.
