Forsa Says Government Must Provide Certainty To Staff At Shannon Airport

Forsa’s National Secretary says the government need to provide certainty to staff at Shannon Airport about international travel in 2021.

Ryanair’s routes to Manchester, Stansted and Wroclaw will resume from the county’s airport again in the coming days having been grounded since October, with traffic estimated to be down by 96% at Shannon this Christmas compared to 2019’s festive period.

However, Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has suggested we may be able to take summer holidays next year amid the rollout of a COVID-19 vaccine across the country and elsewhere.
