A former West Clare school principal will be sentenced today after he was found guilty of 59 counts of indecent assault.

80-year-old Patrick Barrry of Well Road, Kilkee was found guilty of the offences against 11 girls at Ennis Circuit Criminal Court in July.
They had occurred between 1964 and 1985 when he was principal of Moyasta school in West Clare.
The trial had heard from 19 witnesses including the 11 complainants.
