A former West Clare Garda Station is set to receive a new lease of life.
Carrigaholt was one of nine villages in this county to endure a Garda Station closure between 2011 and 2012 under a new policing structure.
Following an application from Margaret Cotter, Clare County Council has granted permission for the building on Church Road to be converted to a residential dwelling.
