Four workers began protesting in Limerick yesterday saying they were made redundant without any negotiation and that the company have now advertised for people to fill their positions.
Shannonside Oil was taken over by Corrib Oil 3 years ago and a spokesperson for the company told Clare they have "No Comment" to make on the protest.
Protester Jimmy Jones worked at the Limerick depot of Shannonside Oil at Courtbrack Avenue for 20 years.
