Former Limerick Chamber CEO Says Midwest Political Voice Needs To Be ‘Louder’

A former CEO of Limerick Chamber believes the Midwest’s ‘political voice’ needs to be heard louder in order for the region to be able to thrive once the pandemic passes.

It comes as uncertainty still surrounds the future of Aer Lingus at Shannon Airport, which it’s feared could have adverse consequences for foreign direct investment here.

The programme for government has committed to balanced regional development, including a number of significant capital projects in the Midwest.
