A former Mayor of Ennis believes intervention from the Tánaiste aimed at preventing the demolition of six Council-owned properties in the county town would be welcome.
The houses on Francis Street are due to be knocked to make way for the provision of a temporary car park for four years under the Ennis 2040 plan.

Ennis-based Fine Gael Councillor, Johnny Flynn, who’s opposed to the proposal, says the local housing crisis can’t be ignored.
