A former Ennis Mayor is hoping that efforts to rejuvenate Parnell Street in the town will pay off for years ahead.

While there was much focus on Parnell Street earlier this year, a number of businesses opened there for the Fleadh and the street played host to large crowds of visitors and local alike.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Daly says this was his personal highlight of the festival, and now he hopes the momentum can be built on.
