Former Ennis Business Owner Says Town Won’t Prosper Without More Car Parking Spaces

A former Ennis business owner believes the town will not prosper unless a significant number of new car parking spaces are provided.

Concerns are being raised in both political and business circles that the 2,700 spaces in the county town are not adequate.

Clare County Council has told Clare FM that while it’s currently ‘examining’ further parking options, public transport will be prioritised over private cars in the design of transport networks.
