The former General manager of Dromoland Castle Resort says the timing was right both for both parties in his decision to step down.
After 35 years as general manager of the resort, Mark Nolan has retired from his role in management although he will remain involved as a board member and stakeholder.
He will be replaced by his namesake Mark McSorely, who has stepped into the role for the resort’s next chapter.
Nolan says the decision was in the works for a couple of years and resulted in a smooth transition of management.
