A former finance director of Anglo Irish Bank has been arrested as part of an investigation into alleged financial irregularities at the bank.
Willie McAteer, who’s in his sixties, was arrested in Dublin this morning.
It’s part of an ongoing inquiry being carried out by Gardaí and the Director of Corporate Enforcement.
