A special mass will take place this weekend to mark the end of a campaign set up in memory of the late Anthony Foley.
The Facebook campaign – named #8masses4no8 – was established by the Axel's son Tony following the death of the Munster great and encouraged people to attend mass for eight Sundays in a row, to remember loved ones who have passed away.
Tens of thousands answered the call and the Foley family will now attend a special service at Knock Shrine this Sunday as the campaign comes to a close.
They were invited by Parish Priest Fr Richard Gibbons who says Tony's iniatitive has touched many people.
