There’s calls for a renewed focus on Clare’s existing festivals.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann wrapped up earlier this week after bringing almost half a million visitors to the county over the nine days, as well as hundreds of thousands more last summer.
Calls have been made for an event to replace the Fleadh in the future, to encourage people to visit the County during the summer months.
