The flow of water from Parteen Weir has been reduced to its lowest level in a number of weeks.

The ESB has reduced the level of discharge to 370 cubic metres per second today, in response to a continued reduction in water levels in Lough Derg.
But the power company is warning that there continues to be associated flooding in areas along the Lower River Shannon including the Springfield area of Clonlara.
ESB Spokesperson Paul Hand remains hopeful that the drop in levels will continue over the coming days:
