Spain’s declared a state of emergency after the massive power cut hit large parts of the country along with Portugal, causing widespread disruption.
More than half of Spain’s power’s been restored but authorities have not yet established why the outage occurred.
It’s feared it could take up to a week to restore some services.
Anyone flying out of Dublin Airport to destinations in Spain and Portugal, meanwhile, are being urged to check with their airline today after a number of flights cancelled yesterday.
The DAA is warning there could be knock on effects today.
