Organisers of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann are preparing for a bumper final weekend of the Festival after a significant increase in crowds so far this year.
Officials say attendances are “significantly” up on last year, perhaps by as much as 50%, and this has been backed up by businesses are who are reporting a growth in trade year-on-year.
Competitions start today, and the huge crowds coming into Ennis will be hoping for better weather conditions than last year.
