This year’s Fleadh Nua has struck a note with plans to move online, while raising vital funds for charity.
Organisers have put together an online programme of traditional music, song and dance after making the unfortunate decision to cancel the event in its usual capacity as a result of the coronavirus.

The Fleadh typically draws crowds from all around the country and overseas for the traditional music week.
The proceeds of the event will go to Trocaire and former Mayor of Clare, Joe Arkins, who’s a member of the Fleadh Nua Committee says it’s a worthwhile cause.
