Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann returns to Ennis in 2016

After a gap of 39 years, Fleadh Ceoil na hEireann is on it's way back to County Clare.

Having narrowly missed out on winning the right to host the the world's largest traditional music festival in the past four years, Ennis has been named ahead of Sligo and Drogheda as the host venue for the event at a ceremony in Dublin on Saturday evening.

It is anticipated that Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will attract an estimated 300,000 visitors to Ennis next year and it's expected to bring a financial boost of 30 million euro to the local economy.
