Flan Galvin Described As A Man “Sadly Missed But Never Forgotten”

The former Managing Director of the Clare champion and former chairman of Clare FM is a man who will be "sadly missed but never forgotten".

Tributes are continuing to be paid to Flan Galvin, a native of Kilnamona, who ran the newspaper from 1969 to 1994, while he was also the chair of Clare FM when the station went on air in 1989.

Mr Galvin was secretary of Kilnamona Club in the 1950's and chair of Clare County Council, Councillor James Breen says he dedicated himself to the entire community.
