Gardaí in Ennis have arrested a driver who was caught driving at double the permitted speed limit outside of a primary school.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, when officers detected the driver speeding at 106 kilometres per hour in a 50 kilometres per hour zone.
Gardaí say a Fixed Charge Notice was issued to the driver in question – the exact school has not been identified.
