Five arrested in Australian terror swoop

Police in Australia have arrested five teenagers in a major operation targeting an alleged Islamic State-inspired terror plot.

The men – all aged 18 and 19 – were arrested during raids involving 200 officers.

A number of knives and swords were seized during follow-up searches.

It's alleged the men were planning to murder police officers during next week's annual memorial honouring Australians who died in World War 1.
