The Shannon based Rescue helicopter has evacuated a fisherman from a vessel off the West Coast.

The Shannon based Rescue helicopter has evacuated a fisherman from a vessel off the West Coast.
Rescue 115 was tasked to a boat that was around 120 miles West of Kerry Head.
The man was airlifted on board the helicopter, and taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The helicopter has since returned to its base at Shannon.
