First Icelandic Horses Flown Directly To Ireland

Some of the first Icelandic horses flown directly into Ireland have made their home in West-Clare.

Dísa Reynisdóttir is originally from the Nordic country but now runs an Icelandic horse farm and riding school in Miltown Malbay.

Last week four of the horses were flown directly to Dublin for the first time ever, with two of those finding their way to Dísa.

She says it was a long journey for the animals, but they eventually made it safely to West Clare.
