Just under 3,000 Clare students sitting the Junior and Leaving Certificate have finished their first exam.
They’re among 120 thousand students whom are taking part in state exams this year across more than 5,000 centres.
More than 1,350 Leaving Cert students began two weeks of exams with English Paper 1, while junior cert students are doing English and CSPE.
