Kieran Patrick Gibbons, whose mother Jennifer is from Dooradoyle was born at 11 seconds past midnight.
Kieran weighs 8 pounds, 3 ounces.
While, the first Clare baby was born just before five o'clock this morning.
Paddy O'Connell, who's mum Lynette is from Clonlara was born at 04.48.
Both babies were delivered safe and sound at Univesity Maternity Hospital Limerick.
