Fire Service tackling blaze at Meath plant

A major fire has caused extensive damage to the Panda Waste Recycling Facility in Co. Meath.

The blaze broke out at around 11.30 last night, at the building on the outskirts of Slane.

Eight units of the fire service are currently tackling the inferno at the premises, where the bulk of the company’s 250 staff members are based.
