Fine Gael has selected it’s candidates to run in the Ennis electoral area in next year’s local elections, the first of the main political parties to do so.

Current Councty Councillors Johnny Flynn, Tony Mulqueen and Paul Murphy will be joined on the ticket by Town Councillor Mary HOward and also Cillian Griffey.
Quin representative Sonny Scanlon has decided not to run, retiring after what will be 29 years of continuous service as a County Councillor.
He admits it will be a big adjustment, and has also revealed that he was asked to stay on by the Fine Gael party.
