Fine Gael has moved to defend its efforts on gender equality.
It’s after the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar came under scrutiny over his cabinet and junior ministerial appointments.

The party says of the 11 Fine Gael female TD’s – six are either Ministers or Junior Ministers but Fine Gael insists it’s done more in Government than any other party for gender equality.
