More than €87,000 in funding has been announced for eight swimming pools across Clare.
Shannon Swimming & Leisure Centre is to benefit from a €14,000 cash injection, with Kilkee Waterworld and Hotel Woodstock each receiving more than €11,000 from the Department of Sport.

Dromoland Leisure Centre, the Inn at Dromoland Leisure Club, the Lahinch Coast Hotel, Riverlodge Health & Fitness and Treacy’s West County will also avail of the funding.
The grant has been provided by the Department of Sport through Covid funding to support the sport sector.
