The Finance Minister says he’s hopeful the transfer of Shannon Heritage sites to the management of Clare County Council will be completed ‘in the coming weeks’.
It’s understood negotiations between the Council, Shannon Airport Group and several Government departments remain ongoing over a multi-million euro package to facilitate the transfer.
Councillors have this week criticised the Shannon Airport Group for what they claim is a ‘lack of engagement’ in the process towards employees at the sites.
