Four Councillors have been elected in West Clare, drawing a close to the local elections of 2014 in Clare.

Michael Hillery, PJ Kelly, Bill Chambers and Gabriel Keating were all deemed elected on the final count,without reaching the quota.
Their seats were confirmed after the lowest-ranking candidate, Oliver Garry of Fine Gael, was eliminated after a marathon 11 counts.
The Kildysart man is the seventh outgoing member of Clare County Council who failed in their bids to be re-elected.
