Fianna Fail is due to confirm its line-up for the General Election in Clare later this month.

July 31st has been set as the date for the party's selection convention which will take place at the Auburn Lodge Hotel in Ennis.
Sitting East Clare TD Timmy Dooley is expected to be chosen to contest his Dail Seat once more for Fianna Fail, while Clare GAA Chairman Michael McDonagh from Miltown Malbay is hoping to join him on the ticket.
It's unclear whether a third Clare candidate will also be chosen on July 31st, but Quin Councillor Claire Colleran Molloy and Rita McInerney from Doonbeg have also expressed an interest in running for the party.
