Fianna Fail is to vote next week on whether to expel former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern from the party or not.
It’s also begun steps to remove Padraig Flynn and three former councillors.

After a meeting of the party’s officer board last night, leader Michéal Martin said Mr Ahern had betrayed the trust placed in him by the country.
However, Bertie Ahern has rejected the tribunal’s claim that he gave untrue evidence about his finances.
