Fianna Fail leader defends broken hospital promises

 

This Friday’s meeting regarding Ennis General confirms that Hospital services will be a major issue for the General Election.

Four years on from the promise of a 39 million euro hospital redevelopment by then Fianna Fail leader Bertie Ahern, his new successor has defended his broken election promises saying all parties made commitments in 2007 that could not be honoured due to the recession and changed health policies nationally.
