Fianna Fáil Call For Appeals Court Judge To Step Down

Fianna Fáil is calling for newly-appointed appeals court judge Máire Whelan to step aside from the role and allow a transparent process to take place.

The outgoing Attorney General was appointed by cabinet on Tuesday.

She did not recuse herself from the meeting while ministers decided on her appointment.
