A new project will aim to place Clare at the forefront of innovation in the aerospace industry.
The local authority has launched a new feasibility study entitled ‘Moving Into Aerospace’ that has set out a number of possible opportunities for this county.
They include attracting a ‘Tier 1’ manufacturer and developing an innovation hub for high potential start-ups in Shannon, as well as creating a sub-supply centre of excellence for the global parts sector.
