A Kilmihil GP says that rural GP services could be completely wiped out in Clare unless members of the public get behind a campaign to retain them.

The threat to a number of rural GP posts in this county has prompted a public meeting in Corofin tomorrow night, with the county's six Oireachtas members pledging to attend.
Dr Michael Harty believes rural practise in the county could go by the way of Scotland where no general practise is available, with people travelling long distances to be seen by a doctor.
