It’s claimed the people of Meelick won’t stand for a proposed road closure on the Clare-Limerick border.
In a joint project, both local authorities plan to close the Knockalisheen Road from Brennan’s Cross to Hartigan’s Villas for a four week period commencing on August 11th, to facilitate upgrades of the Northern Distributor Road.

Clare County Council and Limerick City & County Council are accepting public submissions on the plans until August 5th.
