It’s feared a long-awaited West Clare playground could be dealt a major setback if people continue to gain access to the construction site.
Works are well underway on Doonbeg Playground and the development is expected to be finished in the coming weeks.

Amid reports of people entering the site without permission, concerns have been expressed around potential damage to equipment, much of which has yet to be certified.
Public Relations Officer of Doonbeg Playground Committee, Colm Killeen, says if any equipment is compromised, it could push the opening date back by weeks.
