Fears More Clare Farmers Will Face Losing All Or Some Of Their Property

It’s feared more farmers in Clare will face losing their livelihood unless urgent steps are taken to prevent vulture funds from offloading assets quickly.

The Irish Cattle & Sheep Farmers’ Association says at least 12 farmers in Clare face losing some or all of their property, after their loans were sold to vulture funds without their consent.

The ICSA took part in a protest outside the BidX1 headquarters yesterday, which resulted in the property website temporarily suspending sales of distressed farm properties.
