Fears Bad Weather Could Lead To Fodder Shortage This Winter

Fears have been expressed of another fodder crisis this winter.

Farmers in the West have been hit with as much as 550mm of rain since the end of June, and already many herds have been housed.

It’s estimated that farmers could be facing additional feed bills of hundreds of euro per animal if there isn’t a dry spell in the coming weeks.
